Livingston v Forfar Athletic
[Friday, 21 January 2011 11:14]
Livingston Chief Executive Ged Nixon has been in touch with the Loons this morning to say that following a second night of hard frost in the West Lothian area there is a doubt about Saturday’s fixture at the Braidwood Motors Stadium. The playing surface despite pitch protection covers is fairly hard in places and the situation will be monitored throughout the day. An early morning inspection on Saturday is likely but with frost expected to return overnight, prospects look bleak.
One ‘silver lining’ on the horizon for Forfar players, officials and supporters is the fact that the forecast temperature for the West of Scotland at the beginning of the week is quite mild, so we may get back into action after what would be an astonishing 66 day absence at Dumbarton on Tuesday night.
