Euan Spark joins the ‘Loons’

Forfar Athletic manager Gary Bollan has secured the services of Euan Spark from Dundee United for the remainder of the season on a Development Temporary Transfer.

The 19 year old defender who hails from Edzell is a product of United’s youth system, signing his first professional contract in the summer of 2012.

Euan is a regular in the Tannadice Under 20 side and made two first team appearances last season from the substitutes bench.

The terms of the Development Loan mean that Euan can still play in midweek when required for United in the SPFL Development League as well as in the Scottish Youth Cup, having in fact been an integral part of the Tangerines side who defeated Ayr United yesterday in the quarter final of that tournament.

Euan will be in the ‘Loons’ squad for the visit of Stranraer this Saturday, with Gary still hoping to add a further new face or faces to his pool before the registration window closes at midnight tonight.
