The ‘Loons’ longest serving player by some distance Martyn Fotheringham has agreed a deal for a new one year contract which will see him complete his tenth season with the club, a quite remarkable feat in this day and age.
‘Foxy’ was signed by the then Station Park boss Jim Moffat from Cowdenbeath in May of 2007 and has since been a firm favourite with Station Park fans.
The 33 year old Blairgowrie based midfielder will be hoping to have an injury free season ahead of him in 2016/17 when he hopes to be an integral part of an Athies squad which will mount a challenge for a quick return to Ladbrokes league 1 status.
