How would you like to tee up alongside a current or
former Forfar player and have the chance to win a brand new BMW? And all at the
same time as supporting one of our current legends in his testimonial year!
The Testimonial Committee are delighted to be hosting Foxy's Testimonial Golf Day from 11.30am on Sunday 30th April 2017 at Alyth Golf Club. Teams of three are invited to sign up and each team will be joined by a current or former Forfar player. So far these are some of the Loons Legends confirmed: Ian McPhee, Billy Bennett, Bobby Mann, Robert Douglas, Iain Campbell, Thomas O'Brien, Alan Rattray, Stuart Malcolm, Charlie King, Stephen Tulloch, Mark Baxter, Ross Campbell, Derek Soutar and Jamie Bishop.
The cost is £210 per team which will include lunch,
a round of golf on one of the area’s finest golf courses and a two-course
dinner on return to the clubhouse. If you are unable to
field a full team then
please let us know as it may be possible to join up single golfers into teams
of three. There will be a hole-in-one competition sponsored by John
Clark BMW Tayside with the top prize a BMW!
There will be other special prizes for longest drive and nearest the
pin.
As well as the prize-giving there will be an
auction and raffle featuring golf related and other star items
(including Open Championship flag signed by Henrik Stenson with special message for Foxy, Royal Liverpool Open flag signed by Rory McIlroy
and a signed Jordan Spieth Masters flag).
Non-playing guests are also welcome to come along to enjoy the day and can purchase a ticket to join the golfers for dinner.
It is shaping up to be a great day especially with the
May Day Holiday the following day meaning you hopefully won’t have to worry
about work the next morning!
