Team News – Forfar Athletic – The ‘Loons’ will go into the game on a high following the victory over league leaders Ayr United which brought to an end in dramatic fashion a six game losing run. Jim Weir will welcome back Jamie Bain from suspension, while Dylan Easton will hopefully have recovered from the illness that ruled him out at Somerset Park. Darren Whyte returns to the Station Park fold having now re-joined on a Development Transfer from St. Mirren for the remainder of the season. Jordan Hornby, scorer of Saturday’s opening counter against Ayr United will again feature in the player pool for the fixture with hopefully at least one other new face in the squad confirmed prior to kick-off.
Arbroath – Dick Campbell will welcome striker Ryan Wallace to his squad following his transfer from Stranraer. This apart the ‘Lichties’ pool is likely to be along similar lines to Saturday past when a late penalty at Gayfield saw East Fife head back over the River Tay with a point from a 1-1 draw.
