Betfred Cup Fixtures

Forfar Athletic will for the second season in succession not start their Betfred Cup campaign till the second set of fixtures on Tuesday 17th July.

That evening they will head to the Falkirk Stadium to meet Paul Hartley’s Championship outfit.

That trip is followed by a second away game on Sunday July 22nd when East Fife will provide the opposition at Bayview Stadium.

This game has been moved to a Sunday to accommodate the fact that Raith Rovers are sharing the Methil ground for the tournament as their 3G pitch is completed at Starks Park and Rovers are scheduled to entertain Hearts live on BT Sport on the Saturday.

The ‘Loons’ finally get a game on home ‘soil’ with a local derby against Montrose on Wednesday the 25th of July,  premiership St. Johnstone the most welcome visitors on the final day of the group stages on July 28th.
