Methil – The Final Destination
[Monday, 29 April 2019 11:30]
The curtain will come down on the ‘Loons’ thirty-six game league campaign at the Locality Hub Bayview Stadium on Saturday first when East Fife will provide the opposition.
Of course the Play-Offs beckon for Jim Weir and his squad a terrific achievement by all concerned with the first leg of the semi-final against Raith Rovers due next midweek.
There is still all to play for this Saturday with the second spot in the table behind champions Arbroath still up for grabs.
While Forfar who have a point cushion at present do battle over the Tay, their rivals for that runners up spot Raith Rovers will be heading in the other direction to meet fourth-placed Montrose.
With a few injury worries following Saturday’s clash with the ‘Gable Endies,’ Jim may well have to rest one or two of his squad at Bayview, but there has been undoubted quality available to him from the bench in recent times.
Although supporters will naturally already be looking forward and making plans for that Play-off semi-final, it is hoped that quite a few will still make the less than 100-mile round trip this coming weekend.
At present around a dozen seats remain on the Supporters Coach which is due to leave the Myre Car Park at 12.45p.m. prompt.
The cost is £10 for adults, £7 for under 17’s.

Of course, the club will be organising transport for supporters to the leg of the semi-final that will be played at Kirkcaldy but these arrangements cannot be firmed up until 5 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
