Summary – The ‘Loons’ welcome third in the table Airdrieonians to Station Park tomorrow, both sides being in the unique position of knowing that there is a chance it could be their last game of the season.
The home side go into the game on the back of three successive defeats, but they will have taken some heart from a battling performance at Kirkcaldy last Saturday and a late goal into the bargain.
Sadly they have another injury worry with Steven Doris joining Michael Travis and Ryan Shanley on the sidelines following a second half muscle pull at Starks Park.
George Stanger may return however to the match day squad.
Airdrie travel north on the back of a 1-0 home win over East Fife last weekend courtesy of a Dale Carrick goal.
As things stand, the Lanarkshire outfit are in a three way battle for the last two Championship play-off spots with East Fife and Montrose with the battle at present only ‘potentially’ set to go to the wire!
