SPFL League One Fixtures Released

The remaining League One fixtures up to Match Day 18 have been released by the SPFL this afternoon.

These fixtures will see the ‘Loons’ play their remaining eight league games in thirty-one days with a home Scottish Cup third round tie against Edinburgh City on April 3^rd also thrown into the mix.

A couple of the midweek fixtures have been allocated 7 p.m. kick-offs due to regulations covering domestic fixtures being played on the same night as UEFA ties.

All going well following the completion of the eighteen league fixtures Leagues One will split into two halves with the top five playing one another once and the bottom five likewise.

The completion of the twenty-two game programme, of course, covid and other factors permitting will then see the Champions, the relegated club and the four other clubs who will enter the play-off competitions decided.

For those clubs who reach a play-off final, they have the prospect of an eight-game spell in twenty-five days to look forward to.

Hectic times ahead indeed.
