Forfar Athletic v Edinburgh City – Match Information
[Wednesday, 28 July 2021 13:38]
Forfar Athletic officials are delighted to announce that all spectators who wish to be present at the opening home cinch league 2 fixture against Edinburgh City scheduled for Saturday week, the 7th of August will be able to attend.
Of course ‘Loons’ season tickets are valid for this fixture and we look forward to welcoming all who have supported the club in this manner to what will be the first league fixture at Station Park with spectators present since East Fife were the visitors on February 29th, 2020.
It seems like a lifetime away!
Season ticket holders apart, there will also be a pay at the turnstile facility available on the day for supporters of both clubs.
Admission prices for league fixtures have been pegged at the same price as season 2019/20.
Adult admission to the stand will be £15, those 65 and over will be £9 with under 17’s £5.
Ground admission will be £14/£8/£5 respectively.
Season tickets are still available for purchase online and they will also be available to purchase in person within the 1984 Lounge on Monday 2nd August from 5.45 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. and on the morning of the 7th of August from 10.30 pm. to 11.30 p.m.
The Directors would apologise in advance for the fact that it is unlikely at this juncture that the Refreshment Kiosk for various reasons will be open at the Edinburgh City fixture, although it is hoped that the situation will be rectified for the visit of Kelty Hearts a week later.
The re-opening of the 1984 Lounge is also not possible at present as we await a relaxation of the stringent dressing room protocols all clubs are having to still meet at present which has seen much of the hospitality complex at Station Park utilised for this purpose since September of last year.
Hopefully, that relaxation is not too far away?
Moving on to the home first-round tie in the SPFL Trust Trophy (the Challenge Cup) on Tuesday August 10th against Formartine United, with the agreement of the visiting club, reduced admission charges will be levied.
Adult admission to Station Park for the tie will be £10.
Senior Citizens (65 and over) will pay £5 while the charge for Under 17’s will be £3.
Forfar Athletic season tickets are not valid for this fixture.
