Forfar Athletic v Stranraer
[Tuesday, 24 August 2021 19:09]
A reminder to all that the ‘Loons’ complete what to date has been a highly satisfactory month when Stranraer visit Station Park on Saturday first in the cinch league2.
Forfar Athletic season tickets which will again be on sale in the 1984 Lounge on Saturday morning from 10.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. are valid for this fixture, but of course, there will also be pay at the gate facilities on the day
Adult admission to the stand is £15, concessions levied at £9 with Under 17’s gaining entry for £5.
Terracing prices are £14/£8 and £5 respectively.
Incidentally, season ticket sales over the past two months have exceeded expectations and the Directors are very grateful for this backing from the loyal Forfar fans yet again, especially in these still troubled times.
Sadly due to four of the lounges still being utilised as the away team dressing room area, the club was again unable to market hospitality packages for this fixture.
However, the good news as previously announced is that for the first time since February of 2020, the 1984 Lounge will be operational.
Opening times will be from 1 p.m. to 2.45 p.m. and on the final whistle till approximately 7 p.m.
Track and trace information will be required on entry.
The Refreshment Kiosk and Club Shop within the ground will also be open and the sale of matchday 50/50 tickets will return.
These will be available from vendors in the ground and also within the 1984 Lounge.
To date, Gary Irvine’s side has a home record in August of two wins and a draw and hopefully, a reasonable following will be in attendance on Saturday to give Ross and his colleagues their full backing as they bid to extend that run.
