Forfar Athletic v Stirling Albion
[Monday, 06 December 2021 18:33]
The ‘Loons’ return to Station Park on Saturday after two weekends on the road, god knows how often we have made that statement this season to date.
Stirling Albion will be the visitors for what is sure to be a keenly contested ninety minutes.
The Athies returned to winning ways in dramatic fashion at Cliftonhill on Saturday past in a contest which made light of the underfoot conditions, credit to both sides for that.
This consolidated their second place in the table and they now sit six points clear of third placed Annan Athletic.
Stirling one of two teams to pick up a three point haul against Forfar this term to date slipped to fourth place following a solitary goal reverse at Cowdenbeath.
Saturday’s fixture will see Ross Meechan and his colleagues attempt to extend their unbeaten home record this season into double figures, while at the same time avenging their September defeat at the hands of the ‘Binos.’
A full match preview will appear later in the week.
The kick-off is at the normal time of 3p.m.
