Trip to Kelty next on agenda
[Monday, 18 April 2022 10:28]
Forfar Athletic will hit the road this Saturday, the penultimate of the cinch league2 campaign to face league champions Kelty Hearts at New Central Park.
In fact, Kevin Thomson and his players will be presented with the championship trophy and their medals after the final whistle in what is their last home game of the season.
The ‘Loons’ players will head to Fife in the knowledge that they were slightly unlucky to lose to the home side 1-0 in their previous visit in November, before picking up all three points with a similar scoreline at Station Park in February.
This all came after a pulsating 2-2 draw between the sides in their first-ever competitive meeting back in mid-August.
Hopefully, a reasonable number of Athies fans will make the short trip down the M90 on Saturday for what is a vital game for their side in the quest for a runners-up spot in the final league standings.
Admission charges at New Central Park are as follows;-
