Forfar Athletic v Elgin City

The ‘Loons’ are in action on home ‘soil’ for the second Saturday running when Elgin City are the visitors to Station Park this weekend.

They will go into the game on the back of a solid all round performance which saw them pick up a deserved three points against Stranraer on Saturday past.

This week has also started well with hopefully Stefan McCluskey’s arm injury sustained in the final quarter of Saturday’s encounter not as bad as first feared.

In fact although full results of x rays etc are still awaited, Stefan trained with his team mates last night.

Saturday will also see a welcome return to Station Park for a once again fully fit Jim Weir, the popular former Athies manager now right hand man to another former ‘Loon’ Gavin Price at Boroughbriggs.

The kick-off on Saturday is at the normal time of 3p.m.

Forfar Athletic season tickets are of course valid for this fixture.

Admission for non season ticket holders is by cash at the turnstiles.

The 1984 Lounge at the ground will be open to all supporters from 12.30p.m. to 2.50p.m. and again on the final whistle until approximately 8p.m.

The Refreshment Kiosk will be open as usual at Saturday’s fixture as will the Club Shop situated at the rear of the East Terracing.
