Thanks Again

All of a Forfar Athletic persuasion left Station Park I am certain yesterday afternoon in much better ‘fettle’ as they say following a much improved and well organised display by the home side against current runaway league leaders Dumbarton.
Considering Gary had seven players ruled out through injury it was undoubtedly a ‘good day at the office.’
Hopefully it augurs well for another ‘home’ day this Saturday coming when East Fife will be the visitors in what is basically our local derby fixture this season.
Back to yesterday and a big thank you to the ‘Loons’ fans who turned up and backed the players one hundred per cent from the first whistle.
Rest assured it was most appreciated by the manager and the staff.
Thanks also to that fantastic supporter of the ‘Loons’ cause Alan Davie for sponsoring the fixture.
Alan must now be well into his third decade as a match sponsor at Station Park. He also supports the club in other ways throughout a season and it is so appreciated.
A thank you as well to Steve Durward, Darren Leith, Gary McLuskey and Grant Menmuir who organised parties who occupied the four hospitality lounges on the day.
All certainly seemed to enjoy their day.
The 1984 Lounge hospitality package was also back up and running of the first time in over two years at yesterday’s fixture and thanks to Jane Rae and her ‘weel kent’ group of ‘Loons’ fans for their backing.
A wee word as well to the substantial number of customers who occupied the lounge both before and after the game, bringing with it as it does much needed revenue to the club.
As the say ‘haste ye all back.’
