Forfar Athletic v Annan Athletic
[Tuesday, 01 November 2022 17:05]
The ‘Loons’ return to Station Park on Saturday first following three away fixtures, Annan Athletic their opponents.
A James Hilton counter in the 20th minute saw Stranraer pick up the three points in dreadful overhead conditions at Stair Park on Saturday past.
However most of those present would not have grudged the Athies a point as they had much the better of the second half exchanges.
However with two wins secured from their three long jaunts in October, the home side will be keen and in confident mode as they attempt to secure their second home success of the campaign against the Galabank outfit who currently prop up the league table.
In fact three of Forfar’s next four league games are at home against the other teams located alongside them at the wrong end of that table, so a consistent run of results on home ‘soil’ would be more than welcome.
