Forfar Athletic v Stenhousemuir

For only the second time this season the ‘Loons’ are at home on two successive Saturday’s with Stenhousemuir the visitors to Station Park this weekend.

The home side will go into the game on a high following a fourth consecutive victory on Saturday past in stormy conditions against Stranraer which saw them move amazingly into fourth position in the cinch league2 table.

Ray McKinnon’s side have now accumulated twenty points from the nine games played since the arrival of the new management team in November, moving without any great degree of fuss from bottom spot to their current berth in the process.

Saturday’s visitors also made a managerial change in the first week of the New Year in their case, the experienced Gary Naysmith taking over the reins at Ochilview.

The change has seen an upturn in the ‘Warriors’ form and they in fact had Premiership Livingston ‘sweating’ in a Scottish Cup fourth round tie a couple of weeks back, before losing out 3-1 in the end.

It all adds up to an intriguing prospect for the fans who hopefully will continue to turn out as they have done in slightly increased numbers in recent weeks at Station Park to give Ray and his players their backing.

The 1984 Lounge at the ground will be open to supportersfrom 12.30p.m. to 2.50p.m. and again on the final whistle till approximately 8p.m.

Scotland’s Six Nations clash with Wales will be shown live on the big screen, the kick off scheduled for 4.45p.m.

The Refreshment Kiosk will be open  as usual, while the Club Shop situated at the rear of the East Terracing will be open prior to kick-off and during the half-time interval.
