Peterhead v Forfar Athletic

The ‘Loons’ following on from their 4-2 defeat from third placed Dumbarton at Station Park on Saturday past now make the relatively short journey these days since the opening of the Aberdeen By Pass to Peterhead on Saturday first for what will be their final away day of the calendar year.

The Blue Toon outfit currently sit in the runner up spot in the cinch league2 table, five points behind leaders Stenhousemuir, though they do have a game in hand on the ‘Warriors.’

It will therefore be no easy task for the Athies with Andy Munro a major doubt following his early exit from proceedings against the ‘Sons’, but the home side will be without prolific scorer Rory McAllister on the day, following his late sending of in the 2-1 win at Balmoor on Saturday past when Clyde were the visitors.
