Forfar Athletic v East Fife – Match Information
[Monday, 14 October 2024 17:21]
After a four week break at last SPFL League2 football returns to the Alpha Projects Stadium at Station Park on Saturday first with the league leaders East Fife as visitors.
The Fifers sit four points clear at the top of the table following a 5-0 demolition of Bonnyrigg Rose two weeks back.
Following Edinburgh City’s 2-0 home win over Spartans on Saturday past, the ‘Loons’ will go into the clash sitting level on the eight point mark at the wrong end of the table with Clyde and Stranraer.
Manage Ray McKinnon should have a near full strength squad to choose from following their weekend break and the Athies go into the contest having secured their first three point haul of the campaign in their last home outing back on September 21st.
Stuart Morrison and his team mates followed that result up with an away win at Bonnyrigg, before a slightly disappointing odd goal in three reverse at the Forthbank Stadium as October dawned a match which saw most recent signing Cameron Logan make his debut as a second half sub.
The match will have the usual 3pm. kick-off.
