At a dry and warm Borough Briggs the Loons started well with Stefan McCluskey scoring his third competitive goal of the season in 20 minutes. The Loons failed to build on their first-half dominance and Elgin equalised through Conor O'Keefe just after a half-time.

Although the home side built on their goal, challenging for much of the second half, Marc McCallum in the Forfar goal was hardly troubled with the visiting defence limiting the Elgin front line's shots on goal. Despite a late rally, Forfar could not find a winner and a point was probably a fair outcome for both sides.

The Loons unbeaten start to the campaign continues but Gary Irvine will be disappointed that early chances were not taken to put the game out of sight in the first 45 minutes. Next up a home match vs Stranraer on Saturday coming.
