Ayr United & Alloa Athletic Matches Are Both Postponed

Due to the winter weather both the away trip to Ayr United and the re-arranged match at Station Park, next Tuesday, against Alloa Athletic have been called off.

Following a severe overnight frost and with a similar weather forecast for Friday night, Saturday’s fixture at Ayr has been postponed, the fourth inactive Saturday on the trot for ‘Loons’ players, officials and supporters as far as competitive action is concerned.

With no let up on the horizon with the wintry weather both Forfar and Alloa have also ‘pulled the plug’ on their attempt to play their postponed fixture at Station Park on Tuesday night.

This means that Forfar’s next scheduled fixture is now away to Dumbarton on Boxing Day.
