Dumbarton v Forfar Athletic

Boxing Day fixture in serious doubt.

Dumbarton Secretary David Prophet has confirmed the almost inevitable that there is no chance of Sunday’s fixture at the Strathclyde Homers Stadium going ahead, with the pitch frozen underneath a four inch covering of snow.    The weather forecast through the weekend is for more of the same temperature wise and the official postponement verdict from the SFL is expected on Thursday.

With both teams idle on Saturday January 8th thanks to their exits from the Scottish Cup, an attempt will be made to play the fixture on that date with a 3p.m. kick off.
