The Ladies have a ‘Ball.’

The club’s now Annual Ladies Dinner was again a rip roaring success in the Reid Hall last night.
Two Hundred of the area’s finest turned up in great shape and form, though perhaps a few did not leave in the wee ‘sma hours’ in similar form or shape. Only joking Ladies.
After an excellent three course meal, with drinks being poured by the very attentive ‘Butlers in the Buff’, the patrons were well entertained by locally based raconteur Dr. Tom Dymock and comedian Gary Marshall who made the lengthy journey from his home in Doncaster.
Then in the second half of the proceedings Abbamania had the ladies quite frankly rocking in the aisles.
A great night was had by all with those present giving great support to both the raffle and auction, this all adding up to a substantial boost to club funds.
The Directors would like to thank in particular the main organisers of the night Paula Elvin, Fiona Smith and Fiona Cameron for their efforts.
Thanks also to all who worked behind the scenes on the night and to the companies and individuals who donated items for the raffle and auction.
