Team News – Forfar Athletic – Manager Jim Weir will not have a lot of room for manoeuvre following the derby defeat at Gayfield, but he will be hoping that Mark Millar may be able to at least take up a position on the bench. Eddie Malone sits the match out as he serves the second game of his three match ban while long term injury victims Michael Kennedy and Marc Scott remain a fair way short of full fitness.
Raith Rovers – After their disappointing 3-0 defeat at Ayr, Barry Smith will be able to welcome back Iain Davidson from suspension. John Herron is also free from suspension but is a slight injury doubt, while Scott Robertson will also face a late fitness test having sat out the Somerset Park tussle.
Summary – With games running out as the finishing line to the league campaign approaches and with Albion Rovers and Queens Park in opposition at Cliftonhill on Tuesday, ‘Loons’ players will realise that points gathering from this week’s visits of the league’s top two to Station Park could be vital. It will however be no easy task for the home side on Tuesday evening and certainly a distinct improvement from Saturday’s second half showing will be required. Despite the midweek slot, hopefully a reasonable home support will make the effort to come along and get behind the Athies.

Match Sponsor, Hospitality Guests and Match Ball Sponsor – Sadly as is nearly always the case in these circumstances, the club have lost vital revenue in this department with the inevitable switch to a midweek fixture.
