Team News – Forfar Athletic – The home side will go into the game minus Eddie Malone and Scott McBride who look likely to be sidelined for the remainder of the season. Long term injury victims Michael Kennedy and Marc Scott appear to be in a similar situation. However there are no suspension worries and Andy Munro seems certain to be in the starting line-up having replaced Eddie midway through the first half of the contest at Cliftonhill last Saturday.
Alloa Athletic – Defender Scott Taggart sits out the game as he serves a one match suspension. Manager Jim Goodwin may decide to freshen up his line-up after last Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at home to Stranraer with Kris Renton and Kevin Cawley second half subs against the Stair Park side candidates for a starting berth.
Summary – A win for Jim Weir’s side would confirm their Ladbrokes League 1 status, which may be confirmed anyway depending on results at Airdrie and Raith Rovers. However there is little doubt that skipper Michael Travis and his charges would prefer to complete the task with a three point haul in front of their own fans.
