1995 Championship Team Reunion
[Wednesday, 05 February 2020 10:37]
Club Secretary David McGregor has had a great response to his previous social media article in regard to a Station Park reunion of our 1995 Championship winning squad to mark the 25th anniversary of the achievement.
To date although one or two including Alan Morgan and Ian Heddle are not going to be able to make it along to the Peterhead fixture on April 18th due to holiday commitments etc and in Ian’s case the fact he now resides in the Far East, the initial response has been great.
Manager Tommy Campbell and first-team coach of the time Tom McCallum have confirmed their attendance along with the following players from those heady days;-
Eric Archibald, Gordon Arthur, David Bingham, Dougie Craig, Stuart Glennie, Neil Irvine, Steve McCormick, Ian McPhee, Bobby Mann, Sandy Ross and Craig Stephen with one or two others who are aware of the event still to confirm attendance.
David is still trying to make contact however with defender of the time Alan McKillop and if anyone can point him in the right direction on this score it will be appreciated.
Importantly as well David is also very keen to get in touch with the legendary physiotherapist of the time Jim Peacock who moved from Perth to the Ayrshire coast some years back. Jim who at one time was physio to the Scotland squad was an integral and highly valued and popular member of the Station Park backroom throughout the nineties.
