Archie Thomas heads for Station Park

Stuart Malcolm is delighted to have concluded a deal to bring midfield player Archie Thomas to Forfar Athletic, the 21-year-old having agreed a two-year contract with the ‘Loons.’

Archie spent last season with Cowdenbeath making 28 competitive appearances for the Central Park side netting three goals.

Buckinghamshire born he began his senior career as a youth squad member at Torquay United before being snapped up by Southampton in 2015.

After two years at St. Mary’s he moved north of the border to join Dundee United where he made six first-team appearances over two seasons.

While at Tannadice he also had a short spell on loan at Stirling Albion.

He moved over to Fife to team up with Gary Bollan last summer.

Archie who lives in Dundee has always been one of Stuart’s prime close season targets.

He will join his new teammates at training on September 1^st.
