A Big Thank You to Kit Sponsors
[Sunday, 04 October 2020 22:27]
As we look forward to the start of the new season in strange circumstances that no one could ever have imagined on Tuesday evening of this week, the Forfar Athletic Directors would like to put on record their thanks to the handful of companies who have supported them by sponsoring or taking support advertising on the 2020/21 first team playing kit.
Pride of place of course to main shirt sponsors for a staggering fourteenth consecutive season Orchard Timber Products whose main base is at Orchardbank Industrial Estate in the town.
This remarkable show of loyalty and substantial financial backing over the years to their local senior football club by Managing Director Scott McKinlay and his fellow Directors is so appreciated by all at Station Park.
Even in these difficult times for all businesses they were quick to come forward in the summer and confirm to the ‘Loons’ officials that they would be continuing their support of the club.
Once we get back to some normality in regard to staging matches, we will also be announcing another superb gesture that the company have made to the club in these trying times.
Many thanks indeed.
Graham Pest Control have for a second season agreed on a package with the club for advertising on the shorts, while another member of the Blairgowrie based group Graham Environmental Services have taken over the rear (top) of strip advertising for the season ahead.
Thanks here to Ross Graham and Phil McKenna respectively for this support.
Falkirk based D.A. Gilmour Clerk of Works a family-owned and run concern are a new name on the rear (bottom) part of both the first and second choice strips.
Our thanks on this occasion are forwarded to David and Mary Gilmour and daughters Louise and Karen for their most welcome support.
Finally, we are delighted to welcome onboard Alpha Projects who have agreed on a package with the Athies for shirt sleeve advertising, thanks on this occasion to Paul Cortese for the support.
In these harsh economic climes for all concerned, we are sure all connected in any way with the ‘Loons’ from the Chairman down to the youngest supporter would wish to thank all the above companies for their outstanding commitment and financial backing of the club.
Finally the new home kit supplied for an eleventh year by Pendle Sportswear who as ever have put together a very generous package to the club would appear to have been very well received with replica sales excellent to date.
