United midfielder joins the ‘Loons’

Manager Stuart Malcolm on the eve of the start of the 27 game League One campaign has boosted his injury and illness hit squad with the addition on a temporary transfer of Dundee United midfield player Florent Hoti.

Florent becomes the gaffer’s fourteenth close-season signing.

The 19-year-old was born in Manchester and in 2017 he joined Rochdale on a  two year scholarship.

He was then offered and accepted a professional contract in the summer of 2019 at Spotland, moving north of the border to Tannadice in July.

Florent goes straight into the Athies squad for tomorrow’s league opener against Dumbarton at Station Park.
