On the day that football has been suspended for a few weeks at least, Forfar Athletic can confirm the signing over the weekend of the much-travelled Martin Scott.
‘Jimmy’ as he is better known in the game has joined his eleventh senior club with his move to Station Park after mutually agreeing to cancel his contract with Brechin City last midweek, having made eight starting appearances for the Glebe Park outfit this term, netting four goals.
He began his senior career back in 2005 at hometown club Livingston, the first of two spells at Almondbank. He also wore the colours on two occasions of Ross County, his other ‘ports of call,’ Hibernian, Raith Rovers, Salgaocar in the Indian Premier League, Arbroath, Stenhousemuir, Cowdenbeath and Cove Rangers.
Martin has signed an 18-month contract with the Athies, but will now have to wait a week or two for his debut in a sky blue shirt.
