Extended Contracts agreed with Three Players

Gary Irvine is delighted that three of the current squad have agreed on one-year contract extensions with the club.
Grant Anderson signed from Kelty Hearts in January has signed on the dotted line for a further season after impressing in the latter stages of the season.
‘Loons’ fans will also be delighted that Michael Travis and Darren Whyte have extended their stay at Station Park by agreeing on similar deals.
Both were long term injury victims last season and were sorely missed in the ‘Loons’ rearguard.
Both have worked tirelessly with physio Lara Jordan in their fightback to fitness over the past months and club officials were delighted to offer them extensions to their current contracts which were due to expire at the end of the month.
Michael hopes to resume full training with the rest of the squad in mid-June, while Darren is perhaps still six to eight weeks away from full fitness level.
It will certainly be a pleasure for the returning Forfar faithful to see them ‘on parade’ in a sky blue shirt once again.
The club hopes to be in a position to announce a trio of new signings over the weekend.
