Roberto heads for ‘new pastures.’

In recent weeks we like to think we have brought you a fair bit of good news in regard to Forfar Athletic after the disappointing end to the campaign, but today it is a piece of slightly disappointing news.

Roberto Nditi has informed Gary that he will not be taking up the offer of a new contract made to him by the ‘Loons’ and has instead agreed to put pen to paper with an SPFL Championship club.

To be fair when the 21-year-old defender upped ‘sticks’ and headed north in January from Bracknell Town it was in the hope of putting g himself in the ‘shop window’ and gaining a full-time professional contact.

The club in question have been able to offer Roberto that contract as well as a tilt at football at tier two level and also it has to be said assistance with accommodation, all of which the Athies naturally could not match or provide.

Roberto who made a very favourable impression both on and off the park in his short spell at Station Park leaves with the best wishes of all involved.
