Manager Gary Irvine has confirmed that long-serving midfield player Murray MacKintosh, in fact, the second longest-serving player at the club has rejected a new contract and will move on to pastures new.
The 23-year-old joined the club originally on an amateur form in 2015 when he arrived in the area from his native Ayrshire to commence his university education.
He signed a professional contract in the summer of 2016 and has been a popular member of the ‘Loons’ squad since.
Though disappointed with Murray’s decision, all at Station Park would thank him for his service to the club and wish him well for the future.
