Ken Fenwick

Many Forfarians including ‘Loons’ supporters of a certain vintage would have been sad to hear the news of the passing of Ken Fenwick last weekend.

Ken who was in his early eighties in fact served on the Board on two occasions at Station Park.

Back in the late sixties and early seventies he was an active member of the old-style Management Committee.

His work in local government saw him move over to Fife for quite a few years but he still kept up his interest in ‘Loons’ affairs.

On his return to his hometown, he returned to the fold as a Director and also served for a short spell as club treasurer.

Ken who was involved in many other local organisations and charities died peacefully at home last Saturday evening.

The sympathies and best wishes of all at Forfar Athletic are extended at this sad time to his wife Marion and his three sons.
