Two New Additions to ‘Loons’ Squad

Forfar Athletic manager Gary Irvine has boosted his player pool with two further signings just over a week before the start of competitive action.

Twenty-year-old Glaswegian defender Yusuf Hussain has put pen to paper on a two-year contract following his release by Motherwell.

Yusuf spent the latter part of last season on loan from the Fir Park club to near-neighbours Brechin City.

The other new face is goalkeeper Lewis Sanderson who celebrates his 21^st birthday later this month.

Lewis who hails from Lenzie has impressed the club’s goalkeeping coach Wayne Henderson in close season training and the former Cumbernauld United custodian who has signed a one year deal with the club will start the season as back up to Marc McCallum
