THANK YOU TO OUR CLUB AND KIT SPONSORS
[Monday, 12 July 2021 20:35]
Ahead of our first competitive match tomorrow evening vs Montrose, the Forfar Athletic Directors would like to thank the various local companies who are supporting the Loons again this season through sponsoring the squad playing kit, and this season the kit van.
Everyone connected with the Club is delighted that Orchard Timber Products Ltd www.orchardtimberproducts.co.uk are continuing into a sixteenth season as the Club’s main sponsor. The company, who have their headquarters at the Orchardbank Industrial Estate in Forfar, have provided tremendous financial backing over many years with what must be almost unparalleled longevity in terms of a club’s main sponsor. We are most grateful to Managing Director Scott McKinlay and his fellow Directors, Kevin Golder and Stuart Fraser for their loyalty and commitment to Forfar Athletic.
Blairgowrie based Graham Pest Control www.grahampestcontrol.com and Graham Hygiene Services www.grahamhygiene.com are both continuing their sponsorship of the squad’s playing kit through advertising on the shorts and top of the back of the shirt respectively. Both companies have been very generous supporters of the Club for some years now in a range of ways and we would like to thank, Ross Graham, our former Chairman of course, and Phil McKenna for their continued backing for the season ahead.
We are very pleased that the local principal contractors in the construction sector, Alpha Projects www.alpha-projects.co.uk have signed up for another year as the shirt sleeve sponsors and thanks to Paul Cortese and his teams in Dundee and Aberdeen for this renewed support.
Another local business, Hunters the Jewellers, www.huntersjewellers.co.uk based quite literally in the centre of Forfar at The Cross, answered the call to sponsor the back of the shirts (tail). A huge thank you to Chris and Zoe Hunter for their support which extends to the 2022/23 season.
Last, but certainly not least, we would like to thank Paul Baillie at yet another local firm, A M Phillip Trucktech, www.amphilliptrucktech.co.uk for his assistance in securing a new kit van for the Club. It has already been put to good use by Martin Gray and the Kit Van driving team of Mick McDonald and Cameron Davidson and looks very resplendent with the Forfar Athletic badge.
Pendle continues to supply our home and second kit for the twelfth year providing a generous package to the club and we look forward to working with Lee, George and the rest of the Pendle team over the course of the season.
In addition to the kit and main club sponsors, a number of individuals and businesses have shown their support by renewing or taking out for the first time an advertising hoarding at Station Park. While our Club live streaming, highlights and photography enterprises provided some exposure last season, not to mention the live match on BBC Scotland, we are delighted that with some of our supporters back into the ground these businesses will have a match day audience once again. In these well-reported challenging economic times, we are fortunate to have such loyal and generous backing from all areas of the local community - without which it is no exaggeration to say the Club would struggle to continue.
Thank you to everyone involved and we hope that our supporters recognise this support by showing their backing to the various businesses where at all possible.
