Festive Friends

Forfar Athletic players, coaching team and manager Gary Irvine brought along donations for our Festive Friends collection to their training session at Station Park last night. The Festive Friends initiative is kindly sponsored by The SPFL Trust.

Club Chairman Scott Murdie was on hand to collect these from Gary Irvine, goalkeeping coach Wayne Henderson, Club Captain Ross Meechan, Craig Slater and Steven Anderson. Scott then passed the donations on to Nicola McBride of the Forfar Community Football Trust for the Festive Friends hampers.

There will be a collection point on Saturday across from the turnstiles prior to the home game against Stirling Albion for any supporter able to donate non-perishable foods or toiletry items to this fantastic community initiative.  Please look out for club Director Paul Wilson who will collect any donations from supporters and where you can also nominate someone elderly to receive a festive friends hamper.
