On the field of play, the ‘Loons’ made it ten games unbeaten this season at Station Park to the delight of the home faithful.

Thanks to all the Athies supporters who turned out on a dreich December day with Christmas on the horizon and all the other worries abounding at present to give their backing to Gary and his players.

Thanks again to match sponsor Scott Brown who chose Craig Slater as his Man of the Match and to Barry Laing, Ian Nicoll and Benny Soave who were the organisers of groups who enjoyed the delights of the matchday hospitality package.

Station Park legend Archie Knox was a member of Benny’s group which also included former ‘Loons’ players Ian Boardley and Bryn Williams.

It was great to see them all back in familiar surroundings.
