Happy New Year

? As we approach the bells and 2022, we would like to wish Loons supporters wherever you are in the world, a very happy new year. 

As recently documented, it’s been another difficult 12 months with covid continuing to throw up logistical challenges and financial pressures. We know that many of you have also endured tough times in your personal and business lives. We hope that 2022 will bring more settled times for everyone and that the much-promised normality will return. 

One bright light over the last year has been the return of supporters to Station Park. Even more pleasing is that season ticket sales are at the highest level for almost ten years. Gary and his team are hugely grateful for this backing both home and away - it has, without doubt, played a part in the success achieved to date. 

We are also very fortunate to have the support of our many sponsors including the main Club Sponsor for a 16th year, Orchard Timber Products Ltd. Thanks also to our other kit and kit van sponsors Graham Pest Control, Graham Hygiene Services, Alpha Projects, Hunters the Jewellers and AM Philip Trucktech.  In addition, much appreciated financial support has been provided by several businesses for important ground maintenance and for advertising on our ground hoarding. 

In recent times it has been wonderful to have our match sponsors and hospitality guests back in the lounges and patrons back in the 1984 Lounge – that has really brought a buzz back to Station Park on match day. 

A large number of volunteers give up their time to help the Club throughout the year - too many to mention - but we are grateful for all contributions of time, energy and finances which keep the Loons thriving on and off the park. 

Finally a word of thanks to Gary, his coaching and backroom team and the players. It's been a real pleasure to follow the Loons this season with some memorable performances and stunning goals. Let's hope for more of the same in the second half of the season as we keep up the push for promotion.
