Thanks and best wishes

As the planning is underway for the new season, we sadly have to say goodbye to a few more players.
First of all, best wishes and thank you go to Scott Shepherd and Archie Thomas who have moved on from Station Park. Scott signed for the Loons in the summer of 2020 making his debut in the League Cup match against Hibernian. Scott went onto make 71 appearances, scoring eight goals. His goals included a brace in the narrow win over Stranraer in January of this year and his appearances were always full of energy and hard work.
Archie also signed at the start of the 2020/21 season and made 34 appearances for the Loons. He also made his debut in the match vs Hibernian coming onto replace the injured Darren Whyte. Unfortunately, Archie’s playing time was cut short due to injury, but he will also be remembered for his hard work and professionalism during his time with the Club.
Both Scott and Archie leave the Loons with the very best wishes of all at Station Park for the future.
Our four loan players Tomas Brindley, Sam Fisher Luke Strachan and Steven Warnock also leave with our good wishes. Tomas and Steven, both on loan from Kilmarnock, made 14 and nine appearances respectively with Steven scoring twice including the memorable goal in the draw at Kelty in April. Our Dundee loanees, Sam and Luke played 14 and 31 times respectively for the Loons with Sam also featuring nine times in the 2020/21 season. Sam’s goal against Stenhousemuir on Boxing Day 2021 featured on the goal of the season shortlist. All four made an important contribution to the Loons this season and we thank them and their parent clubs for all their assistance.
