Match Sponsorship/Match Day Hospitality – Update

Forfar Athletic officials are once again overwhelmed by the level of support to date for the match sponsorship and hospitality packages at our 18 home cinch league2 fixtures in the season ahead.

Within three weeks of the fixtures being released by the SPFL 15 of the 18 available matches have a match sponsor in place.

Only our two early season games against Stranraer and Elgin City on the 6^th and 13^th of August remain up for grabs along with the Holiday Monday clash with Elgin City on January 2^nd.

As regards the full match day hospitality package, only one package remains available for the visit of Elgin City on Saturday 13^th August.

This means that with the four lounges now back in business, 71 of the available 72 packages each for a party of a minimum ten patrons have been snapped up.

Quite remarkable considering the turbulent financial times we are surviving in at present.

The 1984 Lounge package is also being re-introduced this season and so far around half the available matches have seen a group booking to date.

This means that over the season ahead we can already look forward to looking after over 1,000 very welcome match day guests to the complex bringing with it what is without doubt in current circumstances very important revenue to the club.

A statistic that many a lower league club would be delighted with especially at such an early stage of the preparations for the weeks and months ahead.

Thanks to each and every one of you.

However the Club Directors are very conscious of the fact that the most important people at Station Park are the 400 plus die hard supporters who turn up week in week out in all weathers to support their beloved ‘Loons’ and all are delighted to see that season ticket sales are progressing well as the competitive campaign beckons.

We also look forward to having a wee chat and a bit of banter with you at times in the lounge pre match or after the final whistle has blown .

It is no easy task financing a club, especially if we are to be a successful one at our level in the current environment and for that reason a few new fund raising ideas are always under consideration at board level.
