Scottish Cup Third Round Draw
[Sunday, 23 October 2022 18:54]
The draw for the third round of the Scottish Cup takes place at Hampden Park at 4p.m. on Monday afternoon.
Former Scotland defender Christophe Berra will make the draw.
In the ‘hat’ will be the nineteen qualifiers to date from this weekend’s second round ties including the ‘Loons’ and to date thirteen non SPFL sides.
These teams include Fraserburgh and Sauchie who defeated League2 sides Stranraer and Bonnyrigg Rose respectively yesterday afternoon.
The other cinch league2 side missing from the draw will be East Fife who lost out to fellow SPFL outfit Stenhousemuir at Ochilview.
The winners of Monday evening’s televised tie between Pollok and Annan Athletic will also obviously move into round three, being joined therein by all twenty clubs from the cinch championship and league1.
A few interesting ties in prospect no doubt.

Before moving on from the current weekend, a big thank you to all the Forfar Athletic supporters who made the journey to back the team at Buffs Park yesterday.
The support was much appreciated by all concerned and we are sure the fans who journeyed to North Ayrshire also appreciated the very professional performance that they witnessed from the playing squad.
Certainly all the Athies officials and fans were given a very warm welcome by our hosts.
Hope those who took the train made all their connections ok and arrived home in one piece before midnight??
