Darren Watson moves to Station Park

In what has been a hectic 48 hours behind the scenes at Station Park, manager Ray McKinnon has brought in a third loan signing from the Tannadice Academy.
Darren Watson is the latest Dundee United youngster to make the temporary transfer move to the ‘Loons.’

The 19 year old striker a Fifer by birth and a product of the Fife Elite Football Academy moved across the water to Tannadice in 2015.

He signed his first professional contract in 2019 and has made two fleeting appearances for the United first team in competitive encounters.

In January of last year he went back to his roots on loan to East Fife, but disappointingly for both parties injury curtailed his time at New Bayview.

He will now gain hopefully valuable expereince with the Athies until the end of the current season and we bid Darren a warm welcome.
