Yusuf Hussain departs Station Park

‘Loons’ officials can confirm that the contract of 21 year old defender Yusuf Hussain has been cancelled by mutual consent.

Yusuf signed for the ‘Loons’ in early July 2021 on a two year contract following his release by Motherwell.

The young left sided defender who had spent part of the 2020/21 season on loan at Glebe Park never managed to establish himself in the Forfar Athletic first team starting line-up.

Last season he made five competitive starting appearances as well as a similar number form the bench, this season it has been a case of four starts and two substitute appearances.

Yusuf moves on from Station Park with the best wishes of all concerned.
