Ladies Dinner Thanks

A huge thank you to all attendees, organisers, caterers and performers at our Forfar Athletic Ladies Dinner on Friday night in the Reid Hall.

Also a massive thank you for all the donations to the Raffle and Auction items which helped boost club funds on the night.

The event was a huge success with many women returning to the annual event which of course was postponed due to Covid. Still, it included many groups of women attending for the first time with all, already looking forward to next years event.

Special mention to By Rebecca Jewellery for donating wonderful auction items, their Facebook page is worth checking out for custom-made jewellery. Please see the photos attached.

Also special shout out to The SoulKings who always filled the dance floor with hit after hit returning to the event due to popular demand. Rosie Sings made her debut at Reid Hall but wow what a performance she gave and hopefully will be back for more upcoming events.

We couldn’t possibly forget our wonderful compère and auctioneer for the evening, Ian Thain who tried his best to keep the women in order through the “heads and tails” along with the evening proceedings.

Overall a wonderful event and we now look forward to the Mens Sportsmans Dinner on 10th June and our Annual Golf Day on 11th August.
