Former ‘Loon’ is Wembley Hero

Striker Cedwyn Scott who made a handful of appearances from the bench for Forfar Athletic in the latter stages of the 2018/19 season on loan from Dundee was the hero for his current club Notts County in the National league Play-Off final at Wembley yesterday afternoon.

Cedwyn who hails originally from the North East of England and who came on as a 68^th minute substitute for the Magpies’ scored the vital penalty in a 4-3 shoot out win over local rivals Chesterfield in the final, this after the scores were level at 2-2 after 120 minutes of action.

The success restored Notts County to the EFL next season where they will regain their status as the oldest football league club in world football.
