Ryan Paterson – latest addition to ‘Loons’ squad

Twenty two year old attacking midfield player Ryan Paterson has become Ray McKinnon’s eighth summer signing.
The Dundonian has netted in the guise of a trialist in both pre-season fixtures to date impressing the management team in the process and consequently agreeing a two year deal.
A product of Riverside Amateurs he stepped up to the junior ranks in the summer of 2021 with Tayport.
A regular in the starting line up with the Canniespart outfit, he then moved across the Tay in the early part of this year to Thomson Park, joining Lochee United on a short term deal.
Ryan has a prolific scoring record in the junior ranks for a midfield player and hopefully he can re-produce that form now that he has been given the opportunity at a higher level.
Ryan’s signing is also a continuation of the Manager’s philosophy of trying to bring more localised talent to the club.
