Manager Ray McKinnon is delighted to have made his first signing since the registration window re-opened with the arrival on a temporary transfer till the end of the season of 18 year old attacking midfield player Dylan Lobban from Aberdeen.
Dylan has in fact spent the first half of the season on loan at Highland League title challengers Formartine United but will now make the step up to cinch league2 action for the remainder of the campaign.
A product of the Aberdeen Academy system, Dylan has represented Scotland on twelve occasions, eight times at Under 17 level and twice at the Under 18 and 19 stage.
Her also had the valuable experience midway through last season of being part of the ‘Dons’ squad who jetted out to the USA for a training camp during the Premiership break for the Qatar World Cup.
Dylan goes straight into the ‘Loons’ squad for the visit to Ochilview on Saturday.
Unfortunately Dylan will not be available for the cup tie with Hibernian later in the month, having already played for Formartine in the earlier rounds of the competition.
A warm welcome to Station Park to Dylan and hopefully as ever the move will prove a successful one for the player and both clubs.
