East Fife v Forfar Athletic
[Wednesday, 21 February 2024 15:13]
Following Tuesday night’s 2-0 away win over Clyde, courtesy of a particularly impressive second half performance, the ‘Loons’ now head over the Tay to Methil on Saturday first to meet an East Fife team now of course under the stewardship of Dick Campbell.
Ray McKinnon’s side have now gone six cinch league2 games unbeaten picking up twelve points in the process from three wins and three drawn fixtures and consequently they now sit in seventh position in the league table on the twenty-nine point mark, eleven clear of the ‘Bully Wee’ who occupy the dreaded club 42 spot presently.
Without doubt a much healthier position than some weeks back for all of an Athies persuasion.
Both games to date this season between the ‘Loons’ and the Fifers have ended with the honours even and in fact only a two goal differential separates the sides in the league table going into Saturday’s highly anticipated contest.
A full preview of the match will as usual appear on FAFC social media channels on Friday.
