Thank You

Not a game that will live long in the memory bank on Saturday with the ‘Sons’ heading home with three points in the ‘bag.’
A big thank you again to the home support who turned out in good numbers but sadly headed home disappointed. Thanks also for the reception afforded our management and players of ’84 when they took their bow prior to kick-off.
It was also great to see fans packing out the 1984 Lounge both before the match and after the final whistle to have a chat with some of the ‘Loons’ undoubted stars of all time.
A big thank you to Doug, Henry and the thirteen former players some of whom travelled a fair distance to be with us for joining us on the day.
There is no doubt they all enjoyed their afternoon and evening immensely and we look forward to welcoming them back for the 50th anniversary of their title win in ten years time.
‘haste ye back’
Moving on it was a welcome back to Phil Milton and his party from Well-Safe Solutions in Aberdeen who were the match sponsors.
Though the company’s bases are in the Granite City and Dundee, Phil himself has lived in Forfar for many a day and we thank him once again for his support in this manner.
His group chose Roberto Nditi as the ‘Loons’ man of the match.
Thanks as well yet again to Alan Davie for his support, his party certainly seemed to enjoy the delights of the hospitality package in the Ian McPhee Lounge and to Chris and Zoe Hunter of Tannadice Trophies for their support not only yesterday but throughout the season.
We were also delighted to welcome back to the Archie Knox and Stewart Kennedy Lounges respectively David Shepherd and Bruce Gordon and their friends and thank them for their continued backing.
Finally thanks to Grant Findlay and his mates for their support of the 1984 Lounge package.
